Fall is officially upon us. Fall is my favorite season for a few reasons. First of all, its not too hot but not too cold, so big sweaters and high-rise jeans are in full force. Secondly, boots are finally acceptable to pull out of the closet. But those are just the typical fall basics. With fall weather also comes new fall trends. Your favorite brands pulling out all the stops to get their coolest new lines on the market just in time for the holidays. I took it upon myself to list my personal favorite new trends this fall:
1. The trench coat
The trench coat is timeless. You can go casual, or make things interesting with patterns like this cheetah print. Throw on a solid color underneath and you are ready to hit the streets this fall. Trench coats are one of my all time fall favorites and they will never go out of style. You can't go wrong. If you want to go classy with the better quality trench coat, Urban Outfitters (around $175) has you covered. If you want the cheaper option, Forever 21 or Asos (around $50) would be my suggestion.
2. Doc Martin boots
Like I said before, now is the time finally pull out those boots you have been saving for a long-awaited fall outfit. Doc Martens are in, and they are working every angle. The 2019 trend says you can wear them with skirts, dresses, or pants, and we're all about it. Doc Martins usually cost around $180, but they are worth the purchase. Pairing them with almost any fall outfit will give it that fun, edgy look.
3. Cross body bags
A fall must-have. Cross body bags are all the rage this season, and I can see why. Cute, small, and convenient... what more could you need? You could go basic with black or tan, or go bold with an embroidered pattern for an old school look.

4. Hoops
The key to accessorizing any outfit: hoop earrings. The simple solution to completing any look is throwing on a pair of these. They are easy, they go with anything, and they are light. The best recommendation for the best jewelry is Anthropologie!
5. Turtle necks
Similar to the trench coat, turtle necks will never go out of style. The perfect fall weather outfit always involves a good turtle neck. No matter how many I have, I always continue buying them! This cozy turtle neck is perfect for any occasion.
